DP: Polyamory is just plain wrong.
PPL: Love is never wrong.
DP: Maybe polyamory is okay for "single" people, but marriage requires sacrifice and commitment.
PPL: Marriage means whatever we want it to mean, and we say commitment and monogamy are not synonyms.
DP: Maybe polyamory is okay among consenting adults, but it's bad for kids to be raised by polyamorous parents.
PPL: Polyamory is good for children in all kinds of ways. In fact, it's probably better for them than growing up in a traditional nuclear family.
DP: Maybe polyamory is okay in theory, but there are biological, cultural, and practical reasons why it's not going to work.
PPL: Oh, yeah? Give me your reasons, and I'll shoot down every one.
DP: If you are polyamorous, that means there's something wrong with you.
PPL: There's nothing wrong with me that isn't also wrong with everyone else!
DP: If you and your partner aren't happy being monogamous, that means there's something wrong with your relationship.
PPL: STOP PATHOLOGIZING US ALREADY!!!
